I like to practise my rock and blues late at night and do not want to upset my wife and kids, so I tried a Pocket Rock-it, but found it to crack and snap, very annoying. So I found this affordable option and I am very pleased with the sound. It is only for quiet practise, or as I use it more often, for use with a set a headphones. The required 9v battery is still working after a month of use, probably 15 hours. It sounds great, and for the money there is nothing else out there.

The only suggestion I would have is to provide an option for a mini-jack for headphones so an adapter to the 1/4" receptacle is not needed. But I would definitely highly recommend it for anyone that has similar needs to mine.

This thing is amazing

The sound that this amp produces is so good you'll be amazed, it kind of bluesy twangy to very good grunge rocky distortion.

However you need to crank the volume up to get the very best of sounds, it is a bit wide for some guitar cases so carrying it in the case depends on your guitar case.

Very good practice amp, true to its bigger brother

I wasn't sure what to expect when I received the mini amp sound wise. I was surprised at how good this small amp actually sounds when I played on it.

Straight out of the shipping box my amp rattled like there was something loose inside the amp itself so I opened up the back and found 1 of the clamps that holds the speakers had came loose inside. I tried to screw the clamp into the same original hole but the particle board had been destroyed in that spot (stripped). I made another hole and reattached the clamp for the speaker, closed the back up again and it plays wonderfully.

For $50+ it sounds fantastic if you don't have to mess with the screws or the cheap particle board construction its great for quiet practice.

Can use batteries or purchase a wall outlet adaptor for it.

Don't expect too much from this little sucker but don't expect too little either. it's surprisingly loud running on that kind of power and it's as portable in a small book bag. dont look to hold a concert for this item but rather let it be something to practice with if you're just sitting at home and you dont want to lug around any "beginner/training" amps and/or wake the neighbors because you want to hear yourself (you would need to buy an 1/4" to mini adapter).

For $50+ I expected a bit more sound/variation out of this amp even for its size.
